The History section gives some background to the story of black heroes in comicbooks. Beginning with a few less-than-flattering portrayals in the 1940's, it moves up through the Blaxploitation years, into the more-enlightened characters and storylines of recent times. The Exhibits are a series of character summaries categorized by comicbook publisher. Of course there are a bunch of interesting images in the Gallery. The Articles include a collection of academic papers including "The Black Panther's first appearance in Fantastic Four #52" and "Why Don't Black Books Sell?" among many others.
