The Encyclopedia of Superheroes on Film and Television is a complete guide to over fifty years of superheroes from off the comics and onto the screen.

For the moment, if you type the words "encyclopedia of superheroes" into a search engine, the first page of hits is filled with references to the book The Encyclopedia of Superheroes on Film and Television by John Kenneth Muir. First published in 2004 (ISBN#0786417234), the second edition (ISBN#0786437553) was released in 2008. While the $75 list price makes it a significant investment, when divided by 696 pages, that works out to just over ten cents per page.
