"The 99" are a number of interesting Middle Eastern superheroes.

Background
It is said that God has 99 names -each representing one of His powers. Kuwait-based Teshkeel Comics is expected to introduce 99 characters (eventually) for their series, based on Islamic concepts and published in both English and Arabic.
