Swamp Thing is the personification of plant life on planet Earth.

Swamp thing

Origin and Powers

Swamp Thing has had various incarnations, but at it's essence it is the soul of a man... in the body of a plant... empowered by all the vegetation on the planet. He is an elemental. As an environmental advocate and protector, it has often been his duty to consider Man to be his enemy.

Swamp Thing possesses supernatural strength, regeneration, the ability to control plants, and can effectively teleport to any place on Earth by transfering his consciousness to another botanical organism.
