Story
Being the last son of Krypton cannot be easy. Being crowded by billions of people who do not understand you cannot be easy either. It is not surprising then that sometimes even Superman needs to get away from it all. His secret hideaway, in an undisclosed polar location, is not only unreachable, it is inaccessible.
The Fortress of Solitude contains an interactive database of all Kryptonian knowledge -which Superman consults often. The miniaturized/bottled Kryptonian city of Kandor is here for safekeeping. There is a crime lab, the Phantom Zone Projector, and an alien zoo. There is even a personal museum of sorts with memorabilia for various friends and adventures he has had.
