Origin and Powers
Kal-el was born on the planet Krypton to scientist parents who foresaw the end of their civilization. They packed him up in a rocketship and sent him to Earth before their red sun went nova. Kal-el was found by a kindly human couple, adopted by them, and raised as one of their own.
